Each of my panorama beads are carefully created using a torch to melt rods of glass. Working from the center outward I build the bead in layers. It is a careful balancing act. Too hot and the details on the bead will be distorted. Too cold and the glass can thermal shock and split in two. Most of my beads take 45 minutes to an hour or more dpending on the complexity. approx. 20mm round
